HE WHO WALKS THROUGH WALLS

The Sanguine is a weapon system, installed in a living being, from which that life form is converted into an advanced warfighter and engine capable of creating its own kind, manufacturing weapons and power systems beyond most planetary civilizations, and converting the body of the host into a multi-dimensional being with portions in and outside normal space.

They were not designed to be defeated.

They were a weapon of last resort.

The Sanguine ability to install this system would create in others a force which might challenge the creator for control, and in doing so destroy anything that the creator valued.

As a result, few Sanguine were made and few since installed without limitations made by their creators; preventing them from enjoying the full power of the engine in all its capabilities. In this, a force for which the power that created the being realized too late that it could not put the jinn back in its prison; and so began the 'Midwar', the collapse of command and control elements to forward combat arms in the field, from which ordinary peace could not be achieved between the belligerent parties.

In ordinary war, the scope of threat to the home of the enemy beyond the ability to defend brings ordinary close to hostilities. In the Midwar, forces refused to accept these risks and losses instead carrying on escalation to the complete destruction of the home worlds of each side; after which only the front-line forces remained. In the field, self sufficient, these forces became a new front against which 5th and 6th generation warfighting without conventional contact or front lines became the ordinary rule.

Infiltration, force protection, and overwhelming and planetary destruction in minutes became the rule, and in ground conflict over 124 million people per hour ordinarily die in the first day of Sanguine offensives, per individual sanguine soldier deployed to a planetary population mission.

The technologies of Beyond War are built to raise awareness of the cultural and individual injury of genocide and policies themed complicity with genocide under color of law, for audience ages 24 and up.
